Are you an experienced Labour Ward Midwife with a passion for promoting personalised maternity care, providing effective management, and demonstrating leadership? An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a shift co-ordinator on our busy labour ward and be part of a supportive leadership team at Jessops. You will work closely with the Maternity Matron and MDT team, providing clinical and managerial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Labour Ward, acting as the key point of contact for staff, multidisciplinary team members, and service users. Ensuring the 24-hour provision of a high-quality, effective midwifery service, providing leadership to staff, and offering expert clinical midwifery advice.
  2. Manage midwifery and support staff and the clinical area to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  3. Work in partnership with women to ensure the planning and implementation of individualised care plans.
