Site Works (Facilities) Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours – Monday to Friday
Vinci Facilities is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services on a prestigious Defence contract based out of the Frimley office.
This role requires strong leadership, a solid background in building services, and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
- Manage and monitor sub-contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Manage and approve temporary works related to maintenance and projects.
- Monitor asset performance and implement strategies to improve reliability and lifecycle value.
- Coordinate with the client and internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with Defence sector regulations, site access protocols, and security requirements.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- Strong technical background in building services or engineering (mechanical/electrical preferred).
- Experience managing facilities on complex or secure sites, preferably within the Defence sector.
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing sub-contractors and monitoring contract performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, risk management, and maintenance best practices.
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
