We are recruiting for a range of positions delivering the full spectrum of radioactive waste programmes and projects across the nuclear lifecycle. You will understand and recognise the importance of radioactive waste management as a key enabler for delivery of operational, decommissioning, waste treatment, and disposal programmes.
We are looking for programme and project managers who have the drive and determination to deliver complex and challenging programmes. We are looking for Waste Engineers, Specialists, and Waste Consultants who will provide a high quality and responsive waste technical and consultancy support to a range of decommissioning, waste management and site infrastructure projects.
Due to our growing workload we have vacancies at both junior and senior levels available. Our opportunities are nationwide, and we are open to flexibility on location and blended working with customer sites with opportunities to travel. Attributes we are looking for include:
- Knowledge and experience of radioactive waste management and/or waste characterisation techniques.
- Knowledge of waste repositories across the full lifecycle and the application of waste conditions for acceptance
- The ability to develop creative solutions to challenging waste problems
- A collaborative approach to working with customers and suppliers, seeking win-win solutions
- A desire to continuously learn new skills and seek opportunities for development
- Experience of working in and leading teams of waste professionals
- An ability to recruit and develop new talent
- The drive to play your part in delivering environmental restoration and sustainable waste management solutions.
Experience;
Ideally Degree Qualified or HND in engineering, science, or other appropriate discipline
We have a range of opportunities covering early years careers, to more experienced positions
Previous experience in radioactive waste management and nuclear projects preferable
Experience of waste strategy and/or repository development is advantageous
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment
