NHS Borders Estates & Facilities department has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Estates officer to manage a range of projects to develop, maintain, and upgrade NHS Borders estate. Experience in managing construction projects within a healthcare environment is preferred.
The successful candidate will have experience managing during periods of change, work independently, and prioritize competing demands. They will lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams of contractors and, where applicable, internal estates staff.
The person will possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, assertiveness, diplomacy, and logical problem-solving abilities. Effective communication, both written and oral, is essential.
Must possess a full/valid driving license.
