Clerical Officer – Band 2

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to join our dedicated administration team, working centrally within the Catering Service.

Are you looking for a new challenge and enjoy working in a busy office environment?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated individual with excellent IT and keyboard skills. The successful candidate will be a confident team player capable of working with minimal supervision, prioritizing their workload to meet various service demands. Good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Experience with Pecos and procurement processes is welcomed.

Hours: 15 hours per week, permanent

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • RSA II Typing or equivalent keyboard experience
  • Educated to standard grade level (including English)
  • SVQ II Administration or equivalent experience, including maintenance of computerized data, preferably with experience of SSTS
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent
  • Previous office/administration experience in a busy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email, Teams)
  • Experience of Pecos and procurement processes
  • Good communication skills with a pleasant personality and excellent customer relationship skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
