The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
*To fulfil the role of a chartered physiotherapist in the assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of all injuries.
*To lead in the delivery and development of high-class clinical practice within the medical department.
*To drive the development of evidence-based protocols for all areas of physiotherapy within the EFC Men’s First Team & associated teams using all available resources including the latest research.
*To contribute fully within the CPD programme of the department, through both participation and delivery at EFC Men’s/Academy teams.
*Be actively involved in an interdisciplinary approach of working within the department that includes close links to all areas and departments of the club.
*To maintain all legal and professional qualifications in relation to your position within the club.
*To observe, monitor and react to the ever-evolving world of Sports Medicine and injury management, keeping up to date with all current research developments and changes in professional regulations.
*To ensure the latest clinical, scientific, and technical innovations for practice are incorporated into maintaining the highest level of care.
*As part of the Sports Medicine Department, provide emergency aid cover for both training sessions and matches. To maintain up to date ATMIFF accreditation to meet all legal and NL/FA requirements for this specific part of the role.
*To attend and professionally engage in the internal emergency aid training programme.
*To maintain detailed records for all activities in the department in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
*To ssist in the implementation of the departmental injury prevention protocols through assessment, analysis, delivery and auditing of collected data.
*Play a key role in promoting a positive high-performance culture and take responsibility for driving the department forward.
*Compliance with Club, NL and FA policies.
*Compliance with the Club’s health and safety procedures.
*To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected.
*To always maintain professional conduct, acting as an ambassador for the Club during and outside of work.
BSc. Physiotherapy or BSc. Sports and Exercise Therapy
Membership of HCPC and CSP (Physiotherapists) or Society of Sports Therapists
FA ATMMiF certification
Valid Level 3 First Aid (or equivalent)
Up to date CPD records
Full, clean driving licence and own car
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience working as a physiotherapist/graduate sports therapist in a sporting environment
FA Safeguarding certificate
FA Player Welfare in Open Age Football certificate
