We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

The scope of Operations stretches from Procurement through conversion (distillation and maturation) and manufacturing (or bottling) to all the downstream Supply Chain activities until the final product is delivered. In addition, Operations play a very active role in Innovation, Talent Development and Operational Risk Management.

The Chivas Brothers Supply Chain team are based in Glasgow and Dumbarton and oversee all aspects of our supply chain including production & material planning, bill of materials management, demand planning, logistics, direct sourcing, and customer service.

Your unique contribution

The Supply Chain Transformation Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes that are aligned with the global strategy and best practices. You will have responsibility for implementing the Pernod Ricard Supply Chain strategy.

You will oversee the transformation roadmap and lead on process improvement and system implementation projects to modernize planning, logistics, master data and export operations. You will be responsible for driving process mapping and redesign, identifying opportunities for process automation after eliminating non‑value‑adding steps and facilitating the onsite deployment and implementation of new systems.

You will have eight main areas of responsibility:

  • Leadership and Building Capability
    • Lead and mentor the transformation team
    • Provide coaching and training in process design and project management, developing organizational capability in loss‑elimination methodologies and continuous improvement
    • Collaborate with reporting & analytics team, IT, operations & supply chain teams
  • Process Mapping and Analysis
    • Manage current state (AS‑IS) process mapping of planning, logistics, export operations and related data flows
    • Work with external partners involved to design the TO BE processes for planning, logistics and export operations
    • Organize workshops and engage stakeholders to detect needs and operating model changes to enable the redesign of processes to improve operational efficiency and guide the programs through the transformation agenda
  • Advanced Planning System (APS) Deployment Support
    • Define the target state for factory planning processes and system architecture and develop and prioritize a product roadmap, acting as onsite product owner for the APS
    • Coordinate requirements gathering, SIT, UAT and system configuration and oversee data migration and cut over, as well as managing the on site deployment, providing coaching and change management to ensure adoption and sustain it
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) Implementation Support
    • Support the implementation of WMS and TMS solutions, developing project plans and managing the scope and budget, as well as coordinating cross‑functional resources
    • Ensure systems integrate with ERP and APS; manage user acceptance testing, go‑live and post‑implementation support and monitor performance
  • Master Data Management Improvement
    • Map current master data management processes, identify weaknesses, and implement improved standards and governance in line with the global strategy programs
    • Collaborate with Tech and data owners to harmonize master data across APS, WMS, TMS and ERP systems and champion data quality and define clear roles and responsibilities for data maintenance
  • Future New ERP System Implementation
    • Lead on the migration plan and execution, focusing on supply chain management processes, solution design and integration, guide the data migration strategy and module configuration. You will also be responsible for delivering training and change management as well as post implementation support.
  • Process Automation and Continuous Improvement
    • Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate non-value adding activities and identify opportunities for automation (e.g., robotic process automation) after processes are optimized.
    • You will prioritize initiatives based on ROI and track benefits such as productivity, quality, cost savings and inventory reduction.
  • Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, defining scope, schedule, budget and deliverables, track milestones, risks and issues
    • Ensure projects stay on time and within budget and that deliverables meet customer expectations, as well as providing regular progress reports to leadership and stakeholders
    • Apply change management to drive user adoption and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders
    • Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and presentations, secure buy‑in, and resolve conflicts

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll collaborate with the wider Supply Chain team as well as other colleagues across Procurement, IT, Operational Excellence, Finance, HR, Leadership team and Pernod Ricard HQ.

Externally, you will collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure delivery of services to the highest standard.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  • Have significant experience in supply chain operations and transformation, including leadership of large-scale process and systems projects
  • Are an accomplished leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate cross functional teams
  • Are qualified to degree or master’s level (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Have a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, S&OP, manufacturing, logistics, export, master data) and ability to redesign processes for efficiency and resilience
  • Have proven process mapping and project management skills with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, manage budgets and resources, and deliver results on schedule
  • Are experienced in working with advanced planning systems, WMS/TMS solutions and ERP systems and familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
