We are looking for a Locum Sports Rehabilitation Instructor/Sports Rehabilitation Therapist to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at RAF Coningsby Medical Centre, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire., About the Role: This position involves working within the Armed Forces’ rehabilitation system. However, the focus is on sports injuries and rehabilitation., * Assessing and diagnosing sports injuries

  • Developing and implementing treatment plans

  • Providing rehabilitation and exercise therapy

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals

  • Supporting patients’ return to duty or civilian life

All job placements are subject to the receipt of satisfactory compliance requirements and a current DBS.

  • BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation or JESSRI qualification

  • OR BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy with full membership of the Society of Sports Therapy (SST)

  • Membership of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BaSRaT) or SST.

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) sports injuries, Please note that MMP does not sponsor work visas. Applicants must have valid leave to remain in the UK and relevant UK work experience.

Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday – Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM

  • Friday: 8 AM to 12 PM

Pay rate:

Umbrella – £25.65 per hour

PAYE rate per hour £22.54 = Base hourly pay rate £20.11 plus 12.07% accrued holiday pay £2.43 – Please note relevant income tax, employee National Insurance contributions, and any other statutory deductions will be taken at source through the MMP PAYE system and you will receive payment net of those deductions.
