The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, providing high-impact HR advice and hands-on support across a diverse range of strategic and operational people issues. It is well-suited to someone passionate about client partnership and delivering commercially sound, people-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client relationships across a portfolio, handling a wide variety of HR challenges and initiatives.
- Provide pragmatic advice on employee relations, performance management, organisational change, recruitment, learning and development, and people policies.
- Support and influence stakeholders to implement best-practice HR solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and partners to deliver seamless and value-driven client service.
- Identify growth opportunities within client accounts through proactive relationship management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and tools.
- Work within established systems and frameworks to ensure compliance, efficiency, and service excellence.
Candidate Profile
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards) with recent experience in roles such as People Partner, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager.
- Strong advisory background in complex HR cases with confidence in handling sensitive people matters.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain client relationships, with strong communication and account management skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing competing priorities.
- Experience applying HR best practices with a commercial and strategic outlook.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel.
- Prior experience in an HR consultancy environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Competitive salary of circa £55,000 per annum FTE.
- 25 days annual leave on joining (rising to 27 days after 1 year, and 29 days after 2 years) plus bank holidays.
