A leading fashion group is looking to appoint a Girlswear Designer to join their growing London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design for an established global brand, covering multi-product categories including jersey, sweat, knitwear, wovens, and outerwear. The role will report into the Head of Girlswear and offers the chance to work on fashion-forward collections that align with a strong brand identity.
The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical ability, and a commercial mindset, along with a genuine passion for girlswear and teen fashion. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with great scope for creative input and career progression.
Key responsibilities include
- Designing seasonal multi-product collections in line with brand identity
- Creating original, trend-led designs across jersey, wovens, knitwear, outerwear, and more
- Developing cohesive ranges with thoughtful colour palettes and fabric selections
- Producing technical specifications, CADs, and overseeing fittings with the tech team
- Presenting collections internally and working closely with cross-functional teams
- Liaising with factories, mills, and in-country teams throughout the development process
- Supporting critical path management from concept through to production
- Using market data and trend research to inform and evolve the range

- Proven experience designing commercial and fashion-forward collections
- Strong CAD and technical drawing skills
- Excellent knowledge of fabric, construction, and production processes
- Creative yet commercial design handwriting with trend awareness
