Pay Rate: £88.94 £104.84 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a caring and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in Louth. As a Primary TA, this is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing classroom environment.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:

  • Support class teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Assist in classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who may require additional help.
  • Help monitor student progress and support their individual learning needs.
  • Work with children with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Support with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.

Requirements for the Primary Teaching Assistant role:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting.
  • A positive, patient, and supportive approach to working with young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with clear employment history and explanations for any gaps within the last 10 years.
