The School and Role
The School is a Primary pupil referral unit that caters for children who aren\’t able to attend a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. Your role would be helping them to achieve their full potential through learning and great behaviour management. The hours of work are 8.15 – 3.30, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning to help pupils achieve their full potential and maintain positive behaviour.
- Assist with classroom management and pupil engagement in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to support pupils with a range of needs.
- Maintain consistency with school routines and safeguarding expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
