Warehouse Operative – Chilled Environment Location: Haydock, WA11 9SG Pay: £13.39 per hour (PM shift) / £15.09 per hour (Night shift) Hours: Monday to Friday – 14:00–22:00 OR 22:00–06:00 Start Date: Immediate Contract: Temporary, ongoing Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test as well as a DBS check is essential. Join one of the UK’s leading supply chain companies at their busy Haydock Distribution Centre. We’re looking for several reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join the team, working in a chilled environment to help keep the supply chain moving. What you’ll be doing: * Working in a chilled environment to pick and prepare products for dispatch * Reviewing order requirements and using hand scanners to pick stock * Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks and trolleys) * Loading vehicles ready for delivery * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace * Working with your team to achieve daily targets What we’re looking for: * Previous warehouse or distribution experience (preferred) * Positive, can-do attitude * PPT experience (desirable but not essential) * Comfortable working in chilled areas * Awareness of Health & Safety standards * Good communication skills – written and verbal * Literacy, numeracy, and teamwork skills If you’re ready to get started straight away and don’t mind braving the chill, apply today and secure your place on the team
