This is a rare opportunity to join a distinguished Central London–focused Real Estate Family office with a long-term, values-led approach to ownership and development. Operating with discretion and discipline, the business is known for its highly selective portfolio and commitment to quality, stewardship, and enduring value creation. As Project Director, you will take a pivotal role in shaping and delivering some of London’s most prominent commercial-led schemes, working in close partnership with senior leadership and trusted professional teams.
What you’ll do
You will lead the full lifecycle of Real Estate development projects, ensuring each scheme aligns with the firm’s investment strategy, quality benchmarks, and long-term vision. While the portfolio is predominantly commercial, the role will also encompass selected residential developments, requiring a balanced and commercially astute approach.
From feasibility and design development through planning, procurement, and construction, you will oversee all phases of delivery, maintaining rigorous standards around cost control, programme, and build quality. You will direct architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
Acting as a senior representative of the family office, you will manage stakeholder engagement with local authorities, professional advisors, and external partners, while providing clear reporting to senior leadership and investment committees. You will also champion sustainability, health and safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring every project reflects the organisation’s commitment to excellence and precision.
What you’ll need
- Extensive experience delivering major Real Estate development projects within the London market
- Strong background operating as a Project Director, ideally with prior client-side experience
- Proven and strong expertise across Commercial Office developments, with some exposure to Residential schemes
- Demonstrated ability to manage full development lifecycles from appraisal through to delivery
- In-depth knowledge of UK planning processes, construction methodologies, and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder-management skills, with a discreet and professional style
- Track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of finish
- Relevant professional qualifications or chartership advantageous
- Must have UK clientside experience, ideally in a family office environment
