We are looking for a Technical Architect with a focus on Workplace technologies, including Virtual Application Services. The architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating Modern Workplace services and solutions for external clients to meet their business needs, covering technology, service delivery, and commercial aspects.

You will act as a trusted advisor to internal and external clients, understanding their business and technical needs, translating these into requirements, and validating solutions. You will also serve as a technical expert in solution design (HLD, LLD), development, and implementation, ensuring solutions align with client needs and internal standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of DXC and partner capabilities are essential. Responsibilities include sizing and costing solutions, documenting them, obtaining governance approval, and ensuring technical delivery aligns with commercial agreements (SOWs, project plans). You will present solutions to clients and build client confidence.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Lead architecture efforts for projects, ensuring deliverables support requirements and timelines.
  2. Collaborate with architects and project teams to deliver compliant technical solutions.
  3. Define and implement architectural standards and guidelines.
  4. Provide technical guidance during project build and implementation.
  5. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet business goals.
  6. Foster team collaboration and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  7. Ensure architectural deliverables are completed successfully.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Deep knowledge of Workplace technologies such as Exchange, Office365, SharePoint, Desktop OS, Citrix, MS Teams, VAS, and VDI.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant cloud certifications or advanced training.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex cloud projects.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends.

Additional Requirements:

Eligibility for high-level UK Security clearance is mandatory.

Location: Remote

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
