Job Description
I'm currently hiring for an excitingPMO Analystrole on behalf of a global professional services firm going through a major transformational change programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing PMO team at a pivotal time, helping to shape and embed a new operating model across their Technology & Data function on an initial 12 month FTC.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You don’t need a legal background — what matters is your ability to work well with stakeholders, keep projects on track, and bring clarity and structure to change delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Tracking – Work with PMs and Finance to monitor portfolio spend, ensure accurate forecasting, and flag variances or risks early.
- Project Monitoring– Review project status reports and performance data, following up with PMs to support delivery and resolve issues.
- Governance Support – Advise on lifecycle processes such as stage gates, change requests, and escalations, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
- Quality Assurance – Partner with the PMO Coordinator to maintain quality across the portfolio, promote best practices, and escalate concerns where needed.
- Process Improvement – Contribute to the development and rollout of new PMO processes (e.g. demand triage), supporting adoption across teams.
- Onboarding – Help onboard new team members, providing guidance on tools, processes, and portfolio practices.
- Reporting & Insights – Deliver clear, data-driven insights on portfolio performance to inform decision-making.
Experience
- 4+ years' experience in a PMO or programme support role
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confident with data analysis and financial tracking, advanced excel skills
- Familiar with both agile and waterfall environments
- Comfortable managing your own workload and priorities
- PMO or project management qualification (P3O, PRINCE2, APM etc.)
