The Salem School District is looking for an individual with the following:

Talented educator with experience working with students with autism.

Hardworking, positive, coachable, ability to develop strong relationships with students, colleagues and families.

Holds a Bachelors Degree and certification (or holds a statement of eligibility)

Special Education certification preferred but not required.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Can articulate an understanding of the New Hampshire special education process.

Ability to coordinate, write, and implement IEP’s.

Able to facilitate special education team meetings.

Produce quality behavior plans, schedules and lesson plans.

Ability to supervise special education assistants.

Assist classroom teachers in implementation of supports for integration of students.
