This role is with one of the most exciting businesses in the renewable energy market! Starting with a headcount of 3 in January, they are on course to increase headcount by over 100% by the end of the year. You will be working for a global leader in renewable energy, involved in projects across various renewable technologies. This company is a leading renewable energy and energy efficiency firm with offices worldwide, expanding into mainland Europe. They are one of the fastest-growing sustainability companies, maintaining a low staff turnover among highly skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading design capability for HV and ICP projects, including equipment sizing, layout, FEED, and programme management.
- Managing a team of Electrical and Controls design engineers working on renewable energy projects such as utility-scale Solar and BESS.
- Conducting feasibility studies, technical and financial analysis, and energy modelling (EPC, PPA, EaaS).
- Adopting a flexible hybrid working model with site visits as required.
- Experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer or Design Manager.
- Worked with High Voltage, Power Systems, BESS, Solar, ICP projects.
- Experience with DNO/DSO or design consultancy is beneficial.
- Relevant Engineering Degree.
