Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to create layouts and outline designs of HV/LV systems for PV plants, at commercial/industrial scale
- Producing Electrical Documents (equipment specifications, schedules, reports, sizing)
- Design Solar PV Systems & BESS
- Assisting with technical drawings & LV & HV design
- Gain & Loss – Heat Calculations
- Hybrid Role – 1/2 Days Office Per Week (flexibility to travel around UK on occasions)
Background Required:
- Electrical Design Engineer (Industrial Plant, Energy Centres, BESS, Solar PV, Substations, Switchgear, Power Distribution)
- Relevant Engineering Qualifications (BSc, NVQ, HND, HNC etc)
- Strong Electrical Design knowledge
- Knowledge of; HV & LV British Standards, BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations, G99, Grid Compliance
- Understanding of the various key Power studies (Harmonics, P28, G5/5, Fault Level and Load Flow)
- Knowledge of digSilent or similar an advantage
- 5+ Years UK Experience
