We are looking for someone to join our Tech Transfer team in a role that involves working within a team tasked with improving and preparing new platforms or updates of existing Oxford Nanopore platforms for release in to production The Details… This role involves working in the Tech Transfer team to run the pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms in order to prepare to release these platforms in to production. The purpose of the work within this team is to identify and assess areas of improvement on all new developments for Oxford Nanopore platforms and to address those areas identified prior to releasing the product to the production team. This role will also involve running the pilot production lines of established product lines in order to support ongoing work to introduce iterative improvements across the whole range of Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms. What We’re Looking For… We’ll expect you to have a degree in a suitable scientific subject and to have relevant lab-based skills and experience. The role will suit someone who is a very good communicator, who is enthusiastic and willing to learn. It will also suit someone who is motivated to achieve results and works well to deadlines.
