For Companies The MET Technician / Strip Fitter role offers earnings up to £85,000 per annum for 45 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times. This is a permanent role at a busy Accident Repair Centre in the Luton area, which is looking to expand its team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles as instructed
- Reporting unseen damage, absent from estimate, as soon as it is identified
- Maintaining a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Working effectively in a team and as an individual
Minimum Requirements:
- Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level
- Previous experience as an MET Technician; ATA is advantageous but not essential
