Bridgwater & Taunton College are seeking an exceptional Employment Skills Team Leader to oversee and enhance the coordination and delivery of our College s work experience offer. This role involves managing a team of Work Experience Advisers, who play a vital role in supporting T Level placements, conducting health and safety checks on work placements, and fostering strong relationships with employers and curriculum staff to create meaningful work experience opportunities.
Alongside leading the team, you will manage your own caseload of curriculum-based work experience, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for students and external partners. As a key representative of the College, you will be committed to maintaining excellent customer service standards and supporting collaborative efforts to uphold the College s reputation for professionalism and excellence.
£24,790 – £26,413 per annum (Actual) £27,967 to £29,798 per annum (FTE) Plus 20.3% Employer pension Contribution
To excel in this role, you will bring leadership and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage complex activities and priorities effectively. You will be confident in all forms of communication, proficient in Microsoft Office software, and driven by a can-do approach to problem-solving. With a strong focus on analytical and administrative capabilities, you will work closely with employers and curriculum staff to ensure alignment between industry needs and student skills.
