Salary: Starting from £29,227 (inclusive of LW and pro rata for Term time staff)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.45-4.15pm Term Time only

Location: Children’s Centres/ Family Hubs - Monksfield Way Children’s Centre

DBS requirement: Enhanced.

What you’ll be doing:

• To lead a team of early years practitioners based in an early years setting in a Children’s Centre, ensuring delivery of high quality teaching and learning.
• You will oversee staff in the successful implementation of the daily operations of a room for children aged between 3 months and 8 years, providing full care and education.
• You will be responsible for supervision and mentoring for early years qualified and unqualified staff and you will be working as part of a multi-agency team.

What you'll have:

• You will need experience working with children in an early years environment, understand early years legislation and safeguarding and have obtained a Level 3 qualification in early years practice or equivalent.
