What does the day of a Staff Nurse look like?
- Lead the team and participate in continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of residents’ needs and wishes
- Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents
- Oversee medicine management and ensure safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
- Create and carry out treatment plans
- Offer a safe, caring and stable environment to the people we support
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
- Support the Service Manager with targets by promoting high standards of nursing care and supervising staff and shifts
- Support, guide, teach and mentor other team members
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
