Overview
As a Maintenance Assistant, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, comfortable, and in excellent condition. You will perform daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, and fire safety equipment, inspect and replace light bulbs, and secure fire doors. You will conduct regular inspections of roofs, gutters, and walkways to address hazards and maintain outdoor areas, including gardening and external housekeeping. You will handle planned maintenance tasks such as painting and grouting, as well as unplanned repairs. Basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery skills are essential, with a focus on compliance through ladder checks, fire alarm tests, and utility readings. A proactive, can-do attitude will help you confidently tackle varied tasks with care and precision. We are looking for someone with a maintenance background, a passion for creating safe and comfortable environments, and a commitment to excellence.
