We are seeking experienced, calm, and resourceful relief support workers for the Durham region. You will provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them achieve personal development.
Key skills include positive communication, engagement, and unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You should be confident in working within a positive behaviour support framework, accepting responsibility, and developing as a skilled practitioner.
Responsibilities include building trusting relationships, supporting a range of activities, ensuring physical well-being, and addressing frustrations. Experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.
