Are you an experienced Buyer looking for your next opportunity? We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven professional to take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective supply of materials and services that keep our operations running efficiently.

This role plays a key part in driving supplier performance, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

What you\’ll be doing:

Managing the full procurement cycle – from order placement to material replenishment.

Sourcing and selecting the most cost-effective materials to support manufacturing and operational needs.

Creating, allocating, and amending Bills of Materials (BOMs) in line with company procedures.

Liaising with suppliers to expedite orders and ensure timely delivery.

Monitoring and analysing supplier performance against KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Conducting supplier evaluations and performance reviews to drive improvements.

Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve the best commercial outcomes.

Delivering measurable cost savings through improved pricing, payment terms, and logistics efficiencies.

Managing supplier invoices, coding, and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

Handling procurement of indirect goods and services such as office supplies, tools, and consumables.

Creating and maintaining stock codes in line with internal systems and procedures.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function.

What we\’re looking for:

Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

Confident working with suppliers to build long-term, value-driven relationships.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
