We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering team, assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with detailed work instructions and technical drawings. This hands-on role is key to ensuring that final products meet functional requirements, specifications, and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and experience with hand tools and assembly equipment used in engineering environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electrical components into final products, ensuring quality and accuracy Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and efficiently Follow technical drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions Inspect assemblies to confirm proper functionality and adherence to standards Identify and report defects or issues during the assembly process Support the creation and refinement of work instructions Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and quality Perform basic maintenance on assembly equipment Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to achieve production targets Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation in line with HSE requirements Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar engineering assembly role Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficient with hand tools, measuring equipment, and light machinery Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
