An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Programme Delivery Lead to join a leading UK financial services organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This senior role will spearhead the successful delivery of strategic IT transformation and integration programmes in a highly regulated environment, with significant influence over programme governance, supplier performance, and budget control.

About the Role
You will provide end-to-end oversight of complex, multi-stream initiatives, ensuring that programme outcomes align with strategic business objectives. You will lead governance forums, establish best-in-class delivery frameworks, and act as the focal point for executive stakeholders, technology leaders, and delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership & Governance β Define and implement programme governance structures, manage RAID logs, oversee change control processes, track key decisions, and ensure alignment with regulatory and organisational standards.
* Budget & Financial Control β Manage multi-million-pound programme budgets, forecast expenditure, track variances, and ensure maximum value from all investments.
* Supplier & Vendor Management β Lead contractual negotiations, monitor supplier performance against SLAs, and ensure third-party deliverables meet quality, cost, and time expectations.
* Programme Delivery Oversight β Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external development partners, ensuring resources, timelines, and priorities remain aligned with agreed outcomes.
* Performance Tracking β Establish and report on KPIs to measure project success, system performance, and stakeholder satisfaction, using dashboards and executive reporting tools.
* Process Improvement β Identify and implement opportunities for automation, standardisation, and operational efficiency to strengthen IT delivery capability.
About You

* Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite.
