ARCA has partnered with a fast-expanding engineering company that’s looking for a Contract Systems Engineer to support their growing project workload.

In this role, you’ll use your systems engineering expertise to integrate complex, multi-domain systems. You’ll work closely with colleagues across disciplines, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear communication so projects run efficiently and successfully.

Systems Engineer key skills & experience:

* Strong knowledge of systems engineering toolchains (e.g. Jama, MBSE)

* Excellent problem-solving ability, with strong communication and technical writing skills

Ideally, you will also bring:

* Technical knowledge of battery systems or related electromechanical technologies

* Understanding of relevant safety and certification standards such as DO-254, DO-178C, ARP4754A, ARP4761, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508

Contract details:

* Outside IR35

* Hybrid/remote – travel to Bristol once every two weeks for in-person meetings/workshops

* Initial contract until the end of the year, with strong potential for extension

* Immediate start preferred
