Job Title: Nodes & PIQ/PFED Quality Technician x 2
Salary: Β£27,855 rising to Β£ Β£29,279 when role objectives are met
Contract: Full time & permanent
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
The Opportunity:
As a Quality Technician supporting Nodes and PIQ/PFED (Partners in Quality / Plan for Every Defect) within the Quality Department, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of machines leaving the Desford facility. Your work ensures that products meet customer and dealer expectations through effective coordination, analysis, and communication.
What you will do:
As a Quality Technician, you are accountable for, but not limited to:

Work closely with operations and team leaders to build strong working relationships.

Carry out audits on machine defects to find root causes and support fixes.

Keep regular contact with US Node facilities through daily and weekly meetings.

Use defect data to identify and follow up on Interim and Permanent Corrective Actions (ICA/PCA).

Complete tasks on time and in line with company processes.

Be flexible and willing to work across shifts when needed.
