Job Description
Job Title : Project Manager
Location : Leatherhead, England (must be able to work on-site when required)
Duration : 12+ Months
Position Summary/Overview
Leading manufacturer of over-the-counter health and hygiene products, is seeking a Project Manager to support Oracle Fusion Release 2, covering the UK, Italy, Spain, and Australia. This role will provide hands-on coordination of business user activities, ensuring seamless engagement between Regional Finance Director, local leads, end users, global business process owners (BPOs), and technical teams (including US-based DTO and offshore vendor teams).
The Project Manager will drive critical project activities—data conversion, master data management (MDM), data validation, testing, training, and cutover—to meet the aggressive timeline for Conference Room Pilot 2 (CRP2) in October 2025 and the May 1, 2026, go-live.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, independent leader with a strong ERP or large-scale transformation background, skilled in navigating complex team dynamics who is capable of stepping into an ongoing project with confidence.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate all business user activities across the UK, Italy, Spain, and Australia, including data conversion, MDM, data validation, testing, training, and cutover, ensuring alignment with business needs and project milestones.
· Work closely with the client PM, technical vendor PMs (US- and UK-based), and offshore teams to integrate business user tasks into the detailed milestone plan, focusing on granular requirements for local leads, end users, and global BPOs.
· Prepare for Conference Room Pilot 2 (CRP2) in October 2025, orchestrating a 4-week testing cycle followed by a 4-week system integration testing (SIT) cycle, ensuring integrations and localizations (e.g., tax, 3PL) are ready for validation.
· Manage country-specific technical environments (UK, Italy, Spain, Australia), ensuring business user readiness for testing, localizations, and 3PL requirements.
· Collaborate with the Integration Analyst, technical vendors and US-based DTO teams to align business activities with technical deliverables across global systems.
· Navigate onshore and offshore team dynamics, addressing cultural nuances in the UK, Spain, and Italy to ensure effective collaboration and project progress.
· Monitor and report project status, risks, and mitigation plans to Regional Finance Director, the PMO, and other stakeholders, leveraging historical notes and “watch outs” from the US rollout (Phase 1).
· Support the transition from legacy applications to Oracle platforms, ensuring business user involvement in data migration and reintegration efforts.
· Adapt to evolving project scope and manage resources to meet the May 1, 2026, go-live and hypercare phase
· Perform other duties as required to support project success.
Education & Experience
· BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
· 7+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in large-scale ERP implementations or digital transformation projects.
· Proven ability to coordinate complex, global projects, including hands-on test coordination, training delivery, and stakeholder management across multiple regions.
· Experience managing business user activities in data conversion, MDM, data validation, testing, and cutover, preferably in ERP environments.
· Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus but not required.
· Deep understanding of business user needs in complex environments, including CPG (health, hygiene, over-the-counter products), 3PL, wholesale, mobile ordering, and warehouse operations.
· Experience working with offshore technical vendors
· Bilingual (English + Italian or Spanish) or Trilingual (English, Spanish and Italian) highly preferred
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to engage Regional Finance Director, local leads, end users, global BPOs, and technical teams.
· Ability to step into an ongoing project mid-stream, leveraging historical project data and prior ERP experience to hit the ground running.
· Strong organizational skills to manage aggressive timelines, including a 4-week CRP2 testing cycle and a 4-week SIT cycle.
· Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), particularly health and hygiene products sold through pharmacies or direct-to-consumer channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart), is a plus.
Additional Information
· Start Date: ASAP to prepare for CRP2 in October 2025 and the May 1, 2026, go-live.
· Work Arrangement: Hybrid, based near Leatherhead, England, with mandatory onsite presence in Leatherhead during the two testing phases (CRP2 and SIT); remote work permitted otherwise, with some travel to Madrid and Italy.
· Project Context: This contract role, running through April 2026 (including hypercare), supports Release 2 of client’s digital transformation, building on the successful US rollout (Phase 1). The role focuses on coordinating business user activities across country-specific technical environments in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Australia, addressing OCM challenges and ensuring readiness for CRP2 and go-live.
· Industry Focus: Strong preference for experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), particularly health and hygiene products sold through pharmacies or direct-to-consumer channels, with knowledge of 3PL and warehouse operations.
