Job Description
Our market leading client is growing their technical team and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join them as Technical Sales Support Engineer.\\nYou will provide support to customers and the sales force team for technical matters.\\nTechnical support will cover many products, specialising in pneumatic automation and thermo temperature control. You will be supporting sales growth by training and proactive promotion of\\nexisting and new products.\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n * Support for customer questions via phone and e-mail\\n * Process requests for special products and variations\\n * Analyse, check and report writing on customer product returns\\n * New product development proposal activity\\n * Market and competitor product analysis & understanding\\n * Supporting sales force with customer visits and application development\\n * Product management including training, new product introduction and supersession of discontinued product ranges\\nRequirements:\\n * Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline\\n * Able to communicate proficiently via telephone and email with both internal and external customers\\n * A methodical problem solver who is logical, organised and able to keep clear comprehensive records\\n * Ability to clearly and effectively present technical subjects, face-to-face and via webinar\\n * Experience working within an Engineering environment\\n * Hands-on testing and diagnostic experience\\n * Experience handling multiple projects with ability to prioritise, manage own time, and meet deadlines\\nDesirable Experience:\\n * Hands-on testing and diagnostic experience\\n * Automation systems or system design experience\\n * Previous experience or working within a Technical Sales Support or applications role\\nDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
