Contracts Manager – Groundworks\\n\\nDevon & Somerset\\n\\nPermanent\\n\\nSalary £65,000 – £75,000 DOE\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with groundworks and civil engineering experience to join a long-standing regional Contractor to manage their sites across the Devon & Somerset.\\n\\nWith an expansion phase in full swing and a large client base of repeat business this is a great time to join and develop your career.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\n * You will be tasked with the overall management of designated sites, to ensure / maintain on site health and safety, ensuring compliance and standards are always met.\\n\\n * Managing site teams, direct labour and subcontractors.\\n\\n * Ensuring all plant and materials are fit for purpose.\\n\\n * All PPE and on site HSE are in place.\\n\\n * Ensure both short- and long-term programmes and planning is in place to deliver sites on time.\\n\\n * Work and liaise with internal and external Health and Safety consultants, advisors and auditors, ensuring all duties and responsibilities are followed.\\n\\n * Regular liaison with the client on progress and attending meetings when required.\\n\\n * Ensure timely delivery of sites, ensuring budgets are met / adhered to.\\n\\n * Regular liaison with both commercial and technical teams.\\n\\n * Source and recruit site teams, labour, ensuring on-going training and HR matters are overseen and actioned.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Experience at Contract Manager level within groundworks – both housing and commercial will be considered\\n\\n * Good programming and planning ability.\\n\\n * Have a good level of health and safety management, RAMS and COSHH – hold a relevant SMSTS ticket.\\n\\n * Commercial / financial understanding\\n\\n * Full Driving License as sites will be across the region\\n\\nSalary is dependent on experience but is in the region of £65,000 – £75,000 + company vehicle or Car allowance.\\n\\nTo Apply:\\n\\nFor an informal discussion please call Jo or Abbie on (phone number removed) or click apply and embark on this journey with us!\\n\\nSphere Solutions are a market leader in the Southwest & Wales construction recruitment sector.
