As a Business Support Officer (BSO) at MBDA, you will provide administrative and operational support to our Environment, Social and Governance, Sustainability & Social Value (ESG) team!
Salary: Circa £28,000, depending on experience (12 month Fixed Term Contract)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: A blended of remote and office working, working 1-2 days a week onsite with a flexible approach.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF). The UKSF pride ourselves on high levels of team spirit and provide an inclusive environment, where our teams can develop and grow within a supportive working culture.
The role is located in our Stevenage office however, flexibility to travel to other UK sites will occasionally be required.
The role will include:

Provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to Head of ESG and UK Sustainability Project Manager, including core and extended ESG teams

Proactive and progressive attention to detail

Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and MS Word documents accurately

A high level of stakeholder engagement, managing/building relationships within ESG and across the business

Various coordination with internal stakeholders

Provide administrative support and facilitate external visits and events. Being the main point of contact, as well as ensuring guests are supported throughout
What you will be doing:

Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses

Organise meetings, events, training days, participate when required and take and manage actions

Understand and utilise MS Office and MBDA systems and policies

Participate in UK Support Function initiatives and personal development initiatives

These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope
