About our Home:
A purpose-built home in one of West Londonβs latest Garden cities, Drayton Village Care Centre offers first-class care for residents with 91 beds. Built on the former RAF site, Drayton Village is part of a larger thriving community including open spaces, public parks, and tree-lined boulevards.
This role is for a full-time Activities Coordinator to join our team.
What does the role involve?
- Building friendships with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
- Delivering a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents professionally.
- Maintaining good communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operation and high cooperation.
- Completing records to a satisfactory standard, with record-keeping types and quantities agreed with the manager monthly.
- Maintaining client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
- Planning daytime and evening activities.
- Being aware of Health and Safety requirements.
- Coordinating the activities program with other services and creating a monthly planner.
- Encouraging resident participation in activities, documenting outcomes, and creating resident profiles based on hobbies and interests.
- Working individually and within the team to provide necessary support for all staff, aligning with the Home\’s aims and residents\’ needs.
