  • Inform and advise the company and its employees about their obligations under data protection laws, including freedom of information and subject access requests.

  • Serve as the primary contact for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and individuals whose data is processed.

  • Develop and maintain the governance of the Service’s information assets, manage the information asset register, and understand information flows.

  • Act as the responsible officer for all Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulations requests, ensuring timely responses.

  • Handle FOI-related complaints and act as the liaison with the ICO during appeals.
