HGV Class 1 Shunter (C+E) – Bolton – Earn £37k +per annum – Bonus Schemes – Apply Today!\\nJob Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter (C+E) \\nLocation: Bolton\\nPay Rate: £37,440 per annum\\nShifts: Sunday to Thursday set shift (17:00 – 02:00)\\n\\nIgnition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. We are looking for Shunters in Bolton for our client, who is a leading manufacturer and supplier of trade Bathrooms.\\n\\n What You\\'ll Do:\\n\\n – Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes between client sites\\n\\n – Moving trailers/vehicles on & off bays (double & single deck trailers)\\n\\n – Some warehouse duties required on an adhoc basis\\n\\n – Loading, unloading, preparing vehicles for loading by removing empty pallets etc\\n – Driving an FLT to move pallets around\\n\\n – Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork\\n\\n – Maintain vehicles in line with DVSA requirements\\n – Perform basic repairs and maintenance\\n – Defect reporting \\n\\n – Organise the yard\\n\\n – Coordinate the movement of delivery trucks and vans to optimise loading and unloading processes\\n – Perform daily yard checks reporting any defects to the transport office\\n\\n – Ensure timely and accurate deliveries or collections – communicating with all departments in relation to ETA's\\n\\nWhat You Need: \\n\\n – A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence\\n – At least 12 months Class 1 driving experience \\n – An FLT Licence and previous experience \\n – A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card\\n – A valid Digital Tachograph card\\n – Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)\\n – A professional attitude and strong communication skills\\n – the ability to prioritise tasks in a timely manner\\n – Flexibility when it comes to your working hours to help cover annual leave as and when needed\\n\\nYou must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity.
