Transport Manager (First Line)- Runcorn – Earn £34,000 p/a – Temp to Perm opportunity – Full-time – Apply Now. \\nJob Title: Transport Manager\\nLocation: Runcorn\\nPay Rate: £34,000 per annum\\nShifts: Full time hours (48 hours a week) with start times between 05:00 and 07:00 Tuesday to Saturday\\n\\nIgnition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced Transport First Line Managers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. \\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients Home Delivery Network and as an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role. \\n\\nTo be considered for this role, you will be an experienced transport manager with a strong focus on customer service. You must have previous experience in a high-volume transport and warehouse environment. \\n\\n What You\\'ll Do:\\n\\n – Proactively manage and motivate the team to ensure best performance\\n\\n – Support with employee development\\n – Encourage a culture of excellence\\n – Investigate and manage any performance, conduct or capability issues\\n – Contribute to the training and development of yourself and the delivery teams\\n\\n – Manage and develop accident reduction innitiatives\\n – Manage role related KPI's \\n – Work closely with the Warehouse and Planning teams\\n – Work on an ever changing Transport plan to ensure the smooth running of daily deliveries\\n\\nWhat You Need: \\n\\n – Previous experience working within Transport, Warehousing and Logistics is essential \\n – You will have demonstrable shift manager/team leader experience\\n – Experience working with a Unionised workforce would be beneficial\\n – You will need to have PC skills and be able to use Microsoft Office as well as industry related software (Kronos, Oracle etc)\\n\\nYou must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity.
