Job Description
CDE/BIM Solution Architect
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires CDE/BIM Solution Architect to be based at their client's office in Warwick, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Warwick office 3 days per week
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation on the interpretation and application of the solution architecture
- Provide design-related services at the blueprinting level and other phases of development
- Ensure the integrity of solution designs from concept through implementation, balancing the architectural concerns of projects with concerns of the enterprise
- Guide business stakeholders to solutions that maximise company investment in technology
- Provide thought leadership on innovative technical solutions to business stakeholders
- Identify, own and support the delivery of global solutions for assigned projects
- Communicate the solution architecture to all other relevant business functions
Key Requirements:
- Experience designing/implementing CDE/BIM architectures and services
- CDE/BIM experience ideally using AutoDesk Construction Cloud and how this integrates to other platforms
- Software development and/or support experience at an enterprise level
- Familiarity with software development life cycle management techniques with experience in product and vendor evaluation and technology rollout
- Knowledge of solution architectures including applying standard architectures and patterns within solution designs and various hosting environments/platforms
- SIFA ARCH 4 – 5
- Degree-level qualification in relevant subject (desirable)
- Relevant industry certification (egTOGAF) (desirable)
- Good stakeholder management and influencing skills at project stakeholder level
- Good written and verbal communications skills
