We’re looking for a Print Finisher to join Paragon’s Nottingham site.

As a Print Finisher / Folder Operator, you’ll be responsible for running folding machines and associated equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and efficiency standards. You’ll manage machine set-up, monitor output, and maintain a safe, clean working environment while keeping production on schedule.

Hours: 3-shift rotation, 37.5 hours per week plus 36 hours on nights:

* Monday to Friday: Morning shifts (7.5 hrs)

* Monday to Friday: Afternoon shifts (7.5 hrs, Friday 7 pm finish)

* Monday to Thursday: Night shifts (9 hrs)

Main Responsibilities:

* Ensure the correct job, code, and version are set on the machine.

* Obtain “OK to Proceed” from the Folding Cell Leader or Finishing Manager after make-ready.

* Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout production.

* Adjust machine settings to maintain output speed and quality.

* Keep the machine area clean, tidy, and organised.

* Efficiently utilise any machine staff provided.

* Complete all ISO 9001 documentation accurately.

* Pass on all relevant information during shift handovers.

* Report any breakdowns or abnormalities immediately.

* Follow all Health & Safety and PPE procedures.

* Coach and guide colleagues as required.

* Provide cover for other folding machines during absence or holidays.

* Carry out preventative maintenance and complete relevant records.

* Check stock of machine parts and re-order where necessary.

* Alert management if targets are not being met.

* Maintain lean manufacturing standards.

* Comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and associated policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.

* Literacy and numeracy skills.

* Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements in print production.

* Experience running MBO or Heidelberg folding machines.

* Excellent attention to detail and quality control.

* Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.

* Flexible and results-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement.
