Job Description
Madison Berkeley is delighted to working exclusively with our client; the UK’s largest multi-unit industrial property developer and asset manager. They are currently looking for an Asset Manager to join the business. They are ideally looking for someone that is between 2-5 years PQE with prior client-side industrial AM experience. This role will sit within the investment management arm of the business. They have a number of new investors and JV partners so this is a particularly exciting time to join.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the asset management of a designated portfolio.
- Develop and implement value-enhancing asset management strategies.
- Prepare and deliver annual business plans for each asset.
- Manage a variety of asset-related activities, including new lettings, refurbishments, lease renewals, rent reviews, regears, lease expiries, surrenders, and forfeitures.
- Prepare fund reports for clients and debt providers.
- Plan, implement, and monitor refurbishment programmes and asset repositioning projects.
- Coordinate and manage third-party service providers, including letting agents, solicitors, property managers, and building surveyors.
- Source, inspect, and conduct due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
- Liaise and negotiate directly with tenants.
