Description of the Role: Work with a team of Quality Inspectors to verify product against engineering drawings, technical specifications and detailed quality criteria to international aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Support a fast-paced work environment at various stages of build with the inspection of sub assembly and major products ensuring conformity and customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Requirements:
- The successful applicant will be able to interpret engineering drawings and written criteria, applying the requirements to verify product using various types of measuring equipment.
- The ability to communicate effectively with other functions of the business, written and verbally is essential.
- The candidate will have previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry and a good understanding of the Quality function within.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- An understanding of AS9100, AS9102, CAA Part 21G.
- Previous Inspection experience would be an advantage, particularly in the aerospace industry and/or an in-depth knowledge of FPT products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering and/or Quality qualifications would be of benefit.
Location of Role: F.P.T. Industries Ltd, Airport Service Road, Portsmouth, PO3 5PE
Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:15: Monday-Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00: Fridays (Every other Friday is a non-working day)
