Multi-Skilled Engineer Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our client is a leading packaging company based in Telford, seeking a hands-on engineer to join their dynamic maintenance team. This role offers a mix of electrical and mechanical responsibilities, supporting production through preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery. Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging equipment Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime Support continuous improvement projects Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations Participate in a 3-week rotating on-call schedule (Monday to Wednesday, up to 11pm) What We\’re Looking For: Proven experience in a similar electro-mechanical maintenance role, ideally in manufacturing or packaging Strong electrical diagnostics and fault-finding skills, plc knowledge advantageous. Good understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition desirable) What We Offer: Competitive salary up to £50,000 DOE 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.00pm Friday (42hr week) 33 Days Holiday Overtime opportunities Individual Monthly performance bonus Medical Healthcare Cash Plan
