Our client, a respected civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects and contribute to the winning of high-profile contracts. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for all pre-construction estimating activities, from early cost planning through to tender submission. You\’ll collaborate with clients, designers, and the supply chain to ensure bids are competitive, accurate, and fully compliant. Key responsibilities: Producing detailed estimates and cost plans from concept to completion Leading estimating input on design & build tenders Liaising with supply chain partners to inform programme, cost, and methodology Reviewing tender documentation and identifying risks and opportunities Attending client meetings, site visits, and supporting negotiations Handing over successful tenders to delivery teams with clear assumptions and allowances We\’re looking for someone with: Significant civil engineering estimating experience (ideally on £50m+ projects) Strong communication and numeracy skills Relevant site experience; marine piling knowledge advantageous but not essential This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
