Depot Team Leader
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Depot Team Leader to work for our client based in the Frimley area. This role involves providing cover for the depot manager when absent, ensuring reliable customer service, and supervising the team effectively. You will also carry out warehouse and driving duties as needed to ensure deliveries are met in line with service guarantees.
Requirements of a Depot Team Leader:
- Minimum 6 months van driving (Cat B) recent experience.
- Ability to plan and schedule deliveries.
- Ability to remain compliant in a fast-paced environment.
- No more than 6 points (No DR or IN).
Details:
- Salary: £28,000 – £29,000
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, am start
- Location: Frimley
- Duration: Permanent
Role of a Depot Team Leader:
- Assist the Depot Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the operation.
- Assist the Depot Manager with any conduct or performance issues, including carrying out investigations.
- Be flexible and able to complete runs safely.
- Deputise for the Depot Manager during holidays and other absences.
