Please note this position is based in London and this will be the contractual location of the successful candidate, other locations cannot be considered.Assistant Portfolio Manager, Liability Driven Investment (LDI)This is a great role for a portfolio manager to join our LDI team.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing LDI portfolios for our insurance and pensions clients, which will involve designing and implementing structured derivative strategies.A bit about the job:We are a global asset manager that combines our insurance heritage, investment capabilities and sustainability expertise to deliver wealth and retirement outcomes that matter most to investors.As the asset management business of one of the UK’s largest insurers, fixed income is in our DNA. Our insurance heritage makes us a natural partner for clients looking for consistent returns and enhanced capital preservation through market cycles.This role is based in London, within our LDI team. You will be a lead portfolio manager on LDI portfolios and support the design and implementation of structured derivative strategies for our existing clients. In addition, you will support a range of other complementary mandates managed by the team as a co-portfolio manager. This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role.
