£110 £120 per day (term-time only | approx. £21,450 £23,400 per year | FTE approx. £28,600 £31,200)

Autism Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to students with ASC
- Support communication, emotional regulation and social interaction
- Work closely within a tutor group to build trust, consistency and positive routines
- Collaborate with SEN teachers, therapists and senior leaders to implement personalised strategies
- Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive
- Promote independence, confidence and resilience through structured support
Autism Support Assistant Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with Autism and/or neurodiverse needs
- A calm, resilient and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and confidence following structured interventions
- Understanding of sensory needs and emotional regulation strategies
- Psychology, education, youth work or therapy background is desirable (not essential)
