Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Bias (80/20) Location: Kettering Salary: £40,000 We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for a leading manufacturing company. You will provide first-line support for breakdowns, carry out repairs, and implement preventative measures to minimise downtime. The Role * Diagnose and repair faults on production machinery (80% mechanical / 20% electrical). * Carry out PPM and improve machine performance. * Work with production teams to prioritise work orders. * Manage spare parts and liaise with external suppliers. * Lead or assist engineering projects. * Maintain high health & safety standards and take part in 6S activities. Hours; * 3 x 12 hour continental day shift pattern based on: * Week 1 – Mon to Wed * Week 2 – Mon to Wed * Week 3 – Thurs to Sat * Week 4 – Thurs to Sat Requirements * 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (essential). * Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. * Basic electrical skills. * IOSH training (desirable). * Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
