THE COMPANY
This is an exciting opportunity with a fast-paced financial services business. The role offers the chance to lead an underwriting team and have a real impact in your role to make a difference to company performance.
THE ROLE
- Managing a large team to oversee underwriting decisions and improve the wider decisioning process
- Oversee deal approvals and pricing, as well as work with fraud and financial crime
- Work and communicate closely with senior members and other teams within the business, including Operations and Credit Risk
- Take a crucial role in leadership and development for existing managers in the team, supporting a collaborative culture
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Essential to have experience managing a credit underwriting function
- Experience managing a large team and developing management abilities in others
- Experience working with Credit Risk to improve operational credit
- Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced, driven environment
